Officer Westfield Presentation, Monday, Feb. 6, 7 p.m.
Parents are invited to attend Officer Westfield's presentation on Monday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m., in the school gym. He will be speaking about bullying and cyber-bullying, what it is, the legal issues involved, and how we can help our children navigate through the ever present availability of technology. He has already met with students in grades 5-8 earlier this year.
Spalding Scholarship Application Due Feb. 15
Parents wishing to apply for the Spalding Scholarship through the Diocese of Peoria are reminded that the application and all required documentation is due by Feb. 15. Parents must fill out the FACTS grant and aid application which is available online at www.factstuitionaid.com or from the school office. Information about the scholarship and the requirements is found at the diocesan website (www.cdop.org). Click on Education, then Office of Catholic Schools, and then Scholarship Information.
St. Thomas More Information Night, Wed., Feb. 8
Parents of students in grades 5-8 are invited to learn more about STM on Wednesday , Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. in the parish center. Principal Scholz and staff will be on hand to answer your questions and talk about the many opportunities available at STM.
