Our Mission

Holy Cross School is a faith-centered community fostering lives of service, integrity, and life-long learning. We are committed to Catholic education founded on Gospel-centered values and the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.

Our Staff

The Holy Cross staff works hard to create and maintain a positive climate. It is important to us that students enjoy coming to school and are supported in developing academic, as well as interpersonal skills. We pride ourselves on having an atmosphere where parental communication and involvement is a key ingredient in the success of each child's education. Please look over our teachers' qualifications on the Faculty Link.

Champaign Unit 4 schools provide a learning disabilities teacher, a speech and language teacher, and a Title I teacher in our building. Unit 4 also provides a school psychologist to aid in the evaluation process when determining whether students qualify for special help.

Our school has a social worker who meets with individual students as well as small groups and classes. She facilitates interactions among students and makes presentations to classes about social relationships.

Our Curriculum

Our comprehensive curriculum unites the Gospel message to our students in their daily work with morning prayer, weekly Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, and community service. Students are also supported in learning and practicing appropriate conduct, good manners, and kindness to one another. Please click on the Curriculum Link for more detailed information about our curriculum.

Our Legacy
